Part 1: The Pitch

Dear Brian Williams,

Imagine walking into a room and catching a furry little robot stealing a shy glance at you. Introducing Mirumi, a groundbreaking new companion bot designed to mimic the joyful, subtle moments of every child's dream doll. Mirumi, created by Driska Industries robotics experts, is more than just adorable. Its primary purpose is to encourage social connection through using subtle, expressive head movements that generate the same level of excitement as a real baby. Mirumi bridges the emotional gap between humans and robots by mimicking the timing of its head movements and displaying a range of emotions, including surprise, excitement, and embarrassment.

As the public's interest in emotionally intelligent technology grows and social robotics becomes more and more important in fields like education, therapy, and eldercare, Mirumi offers a fresh, emotionally compelling way for people to interact with robots—not as tools, but as friends. I'd love to give you an early look of Mirumi before we make it available to the general public this month. This preview will include live demo opportunities, creator insights, and footage of Mirumi in action.

Would you be interested in finding out more about this unique robot that is revolutionizing the way humans interact with machines?I appreciate your consideration and would be happy to offer pictures, press releases, and schedule interviews with the designers whenever works best for you

All the best,

Johnny Driska
